Born in Delft (NL), raised in Nairobi (KE),

Ferdi Riwo is a multidisciplinary artist exploring identity, transformation, and the relationship between language and image.

His interest in graffiti began during high school, an interest that never left and eventually led him to pursue a career in the creative field. After studying and working as a graphic designer, Ferdi began looking beyond design and deeper into his own relationship with art.

Today, he continues to develop his practice while studying at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Working across graffiti, abstract lettering, photography, and tattooing, he explores growth, self-expression, and the search for form, using different media to capture moments, experiences, and fragments of life.
